About this service

Stress isn't the enemy — carrying it alone, for too long, is. Stress management sessions focus on understanding your stress, building coping skills that actually fit your life, and creating healthier boundaries between work and rest. The emphasis is practical, so you leave with tools you can use straight away.

Who it may help

  • You feel exhausted even after resting
  • Work follows you home and into your evenings
  • Stress is showing up in your body or sleep
  • You want practical coping skills, not just talk
  • You're close to burnout and want to prevent it

Our approach & your first session

Sessions combine understanding your stress triggers with concrete, evidence-informed techniques — from relaxation and breathing practices to practical ways of setting boundaries and managing workload. It's typically a shorter, focused programme, reviewed with you as you build confidence using the tools.

What to expect first time

Your first session is a gentle conversation — a chance to talk about what brought you here and what you'd like to feel differently. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to, and by the end you'll have a sense of how working together might help.

Online & in-person availability

This service is available in person in New Delhi and online by video. You can choose whichever suits you, or switch between the two as your week allows. Sessions are led by Dr. Anjuman Nayyar, a counselling psychologist with over 35 years' experience.

You might find this helpful if…

You don't need to tick every box — if a few of these feel familiar, it's worth a conversation.

Common questions

It blends both — understanding what's driving your stress, and building practical coping skills. Sessions are supportive and structured around your goals, and tend to be more focused and shorter-term.

Approaches may include relaxation and breathing practices, ways to reframe unhelpful thinking, and practical strategies for boundaries and workload. Everything is adapted to your life rather than applied from a template.

Yes. This service works well online by video, which many people find convenient to fit around a busy schedule, and it's also available in person in New Delhi.

It's usually short-term and focused, with the number of sessions reviewed together. Some people feel steadier within a handful of sessions; others continue for ongoing support.

If sessions surface something that would benefit from longer-term support, that's discussed openly and you can move toward individual counselling at your own pace.

No preparation is needed. It can help to notice when stress tends to peak in your week, but you can simply come and talk it through.
